2025 Carolinas Chapter Member Awards Nomination

Recipient Criteria

We are not only celebrating excellence in design...we are also celebrating excellence in our IIDA Carolina members. Carolinas Chapter would like to recognize and honor those individuals who have made significant contributions to our Chapter, community, and the design profession.

If you are a member (you can nominate all 4 categories) that you would like to honor, please do so by submitting their nomination for our Chapter Awards. See below for categories and criteria.

STAR AWARD:

The Highest Honor Bestowed by the IIDA Carolinas Chapter 

• Professional Members Only
• Actively participates in Chapter events and has served on committees
• Actively works to advance and promote the profession of Interior Desiger

CHAPTER SERVICE AWARD:

• A member who shows exceptional leadership
• Actively participates in Chapter events
• Gives their time and energy to committees and Chapter functions

INDUSTRY MEMBER AWARD:

• An active Industry Member who contributes to the Chapter through sponsorship, support and efforts

EDUCATOR AWARD:

• A member who provides education to students or continuing education programs to members
• Demonstrates the importance of enhancing the quality of life through excellence in Interior Design and the advancement of Interior Design through knowledge

SHINING STAR STUDENT AWARD:

• Student members only
• Shows exceptional leadership
• Actively participates in Chapter events
• Involved in committees at the school, city center and/or Chapter level
• Must be a student currently enrolled in an Interior Design program or has graduated in 2025
